Learn to run the system a factory depends on.
Most PLM training teaches you to click through a product. Ours teaches you to deploy it, configure it for a business, integrate it with everything around it, and migrate legacy data — on a real, production platform built in India.
One foundation, two careers
PLM firms recruit two different people, and they are not a beginner and an expert — they are a functional consultant who sits with engineers, and a technical administrator who sits with IT. Both start from the same foundation, then diverge. Neither track is harder than the other.
Foundation is the prerequisite for both tracks and certifies in its own right — a student who stops there is a capable PLM user. The tracks are siblings, not a sequence: a cohort can take Foundation together and split by aptitude at week three.

Foundation — Certified PLM Associate
Core product data model, navigation & PLM lifecycle fundamentals
Key Learning Outcomes
Upon certified completion, graduates demonstrate proficiency to:
- Understand PLM domain scope vs CAD, ERP, and MES systems
- Navigate enterprise product records across requirements, parts, materials & documents
- Construct and interrogate multi-level Bills of Materials (eBOM) and where-used trees
- Raise well-formed Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with affected-items lists
- Operate release management gates, baselines, and status transitions
- Search objects via classification, UNSPSC taxonomy, and IntelliSearch
Curriculum Modules Breakdown
Structured instruction & hands-on laboratory modules:
Module 1: The Product Record & PLM Architecture
12 HoursWhy PLM exists, data ownership boundaries, and browser-based platform navigation.
Module 2: Parts, Materials & Classification
16 HoursItem master creation, UNSPSC taxonomy browsing, part reuse, and library promotion.
Module 3: Multi-Level BOM Management
20 HoursStructuring eBOMs, quantity rollups, BOM comparison, and parent-child parentage.
Module 4: Engineering Change Control (ECO/ECN)
16 HoursProblem reporting, impact analysis, change routing, and affected-items disposition.
Module 5: Product Release & Baselines
16 HoursRelease gate validation, baseline snapshots, revision control, and compliance readiness.
What each week contains
Eight hours a day: roughly three of instruction, four of supervised laboratory work, one of review. Every student works on their own instance throughout.
Track A — Functional Consultant (Weeks 1 to 4)
Track B — Technical Administrator (Weeks 1 to 4)
Assessment & The Capstone
You cannot pass on written work alone. The capstone instance has to function on live software.
Assessment Weighting Breakdown
Real Industry Briefs
Teams of three receive genuine industry specifications — such as an industrial gearbox manufacturer, an electric two-wheeler powertrain supplier, or a process-pump maker.
Data Defect Remediation
The legacy dataset carries genuine defects — duplicate records, missing part numbers, inconsistent units. Clean data teaches nothing about real enterprise migration.
Contradiction Defense
The brief contains a deliberate specification contradiction the team must find and challenge before a panel that includes institute faculty.

We would rather run one pilot cohort than negotiate an agreement.
